Description

The Communications and Sensor Officer uses the ship's sensor and transmission arrays to project false signatures or deploy physical chaff decoys, making the ship harder to track and target.

The Officer makes an Electronics check (DC 10 + Target Sensors Mod). On a success, the ship projects phantom signatures or deploys decoys. This forces all scanning and targeting checks against your ship to take a disadvantage for 1 round. Alternatively, if targeted by guided missiles, the decoys can be active, providing a 50% chance (a 1-5 on a d10) that any incoming guided missile attacks are drawn away and miss the hull entirely.
