Warp Field Expander

Description
This system uses the ship's Warp Drive to extend a warp field around a nearby ship to allow it to travel as fast as it in warp.

Requirements: The ship must be size Large or larger. This can only be used on ships of the same size or smaller. The ship must have a Warp style FTL and can only work on other Warp style FTLs.

Hard Points / Bays: 1 HP / 1 Bay

Price: $450,000 (Additional $450,000 every size above Large)

Jump Assistance Drive

Description
This acts like a Jump Gate and can assist in jumping other ships.

Requirements: The ship must be size Medium or larger. This can only be used on ships of the same size or smaller. The target ship must have a Jump Drive.

Hard Points / Bays: 1 HP / 1 Bay

Price: $30,000 (Additional $30,000 for every size above Medium)

Shield Extender

Description
This allows the ship to give some of this shield over to another target ship. Whatever is provided to the target ship is taken away from the assisting ship. This can only happen if the ship systems are compatible. The amount is optional.

Requirements: Requires at least small size ship.

Hard Points / Bays: 1 Bay

Price: $1,500,000 ($1,000,000 for every size ship above Small)

Shield Enhancer

Description
This passively provides a bonus to the ship shields. Either in the form of DR or in the form of Hit Points depending on ship shield configuration.

Requirements: The minimal size of the ship is small.

Hard Points / Bays: 1 HP

Price: $600,000 (Another $600,000 for every size ship above small.)

Phase Discriminator

Description
This assists in finding cloaked/stealthed ships or Slip Stream/Phase Shift FTL drives. It provides a +1 by default but more enhanced version can be more powerful.

Requirements: The ship's Core must be Tech Level 2 or higher.

Hard Points / Bays: 1 HP

Price: $500,000 (Additional $500,000 for every +1 bonus to sensors max 6)

Plasma Flow Enhancer

Description
All FTL drives use plasma in some fashion or another. This sub-system is designed to increase the efficiency of the plasma even though it may break manufacture regulations.

Requirements:

Hard Points / Bays: 1 Bay

Price: $200,000 (Changes to $400,000 for Large ships, $600,000 for Gargantuan)


Drone Controller

Description
This allows a ship to carry, deploy, and control drones. The Bay holds drones while the Hard Point is the control interface. Each Classification upgrade provides a bonus to either holding a drone in the bay or controller 1 more drone at a time. By default, a ship can control 2 drones and the Bay can hold 4. Each ship size has its own size of drone which is considered 4 sizes smaller. The smallest sized ship is Medium.

Requirements:

Hard Points / Bays: 1 HP / 1 Bay

Price: $500,000 (Additional $500,000 for every Classification improvement or size bigger than Medium)

Engine Boosters

Description
Passive sub-light engine thrusters and fuel injectors designed to provide emergency thrust. Provides a +2 bonus on all active Pilot checks using Engines (such as Close/Widen Distance or Emergency Evasive Thrusters).

Requirements: Must have at least 1 rank in the Pilot skill.

Hard Points / Bays: 1 HP or 1 Customization Slot

Price: $250,000 (Additional $250,000 for each ship size above Tiny)

Reactor Auxiliary Capacitor

Description
A bank of heavy-duty, fast-discharge capacitors that stores reserve energy. Provides a +2 bonus on Craft checks to Overclock Core. If the overclock check fails, the capacitor absorbs the energy backcharge, preventing reactor strain or damage (consumes its charge, requiring 1 round to recharge).

Requirements: Must have an Engineering Bay or Facility on board.

Hard Points / Bays: 1 Customization Slot

Holographic Decoy Launcher

Description
A tactical launcher that ejects short-lived, high-emission holographic decoy canisters to disrupt enemy targeting. Required to use the active decoy portion of the Sensor Spoofing / Decoy Projection function. Grants a +2 bonus to the Comms Officer's Electronics check and increases the guided missile miss chance from 50% to 75% for that round. Holds 3 decoy charges.

Price: $120,000 (Additional $120,000 for every size above Tiny)

Fire-Control Matrix

Description
An advanced targeting computer that tracks multi-target trajectories and compensates for stellar noise. Grants a +1 bonus to all Weapons Officer attack rolls (d10s) and allows the Weapons Officer to ignore the -2 penalty when using Defensive Fire.

Requirements:

Advanced Recycler Grid

Description
Multi-stage filtration and oxygen-water reclamation systems that maximize life support efficiency. Increases the default passenger capacity of the hull by 25% and grants a +2 bonus to Constitution saves against internal infestations or toxic hazards.
