This skill allows a character to build electronic equipment from scratch, such as audio and video equipment, timers and listening devices, or radios and communication devices.When building an electronic device from scratch, the character describes the kind of device he or she wants to construct; then the Gamemaster decides whether the device is simple, moderate, complex, or advanced com­pared to current technology. A Player can find a list of possible items to construct in the [[General_Equipment]] page.

If a Character wants to attempt to identify the Electronic item then they can follow the rules for identifying technology [[Knowledge#Technology|here]].  
When building an electronic device from scratch, the character describes the kind of device he or she wants to construct; then the GM decides if the Player can even craft that based on there Tech level and what the DC should be normally either 10 or 15 + Procure Difficulty. Otherwise there are plenty of useful items in the game that require the Electronic crafting skill to make and/or repair.

A Electrical Tool Kit from the [[General_Equipment#Profession_Kits|Profession Kits]] page is necessary to craft Electronic items. An advanced kit provides an Advantage when crafting or repairing.
* A character without an Electrical Tool kit takes a –4 penalty on Craft (electronic) checks.
 
* A character with the [[Builder]] feat gets a +2 bonus on all Craft (electronic) checks.
Electronics follows the core rules for Crafting with no modifications except for Identifying as noted above. More rules regarding crafting, the costs, and the time it takes can be found [[Craft|here]].
