This is a built in A.I flight assist system. It is always passively running in the background and using knowledge gained while watching combat to make the ship move in such a way that the opponents tracking has a harder time keeping up.
This is granted by a Talent and it allows the Pilot to make a highly complicated and special maneuver that completely throws off the enemy ship. Feint is a function of a Space ship. Space Ships and other functions can be found here. This is very similar to the Combat Maneuver noted in the Combat rules. This allows a ship to attempt to fly in a particular way to will help to through off the tracking systems of other weapons.

Description

This is granted by a Talent and it allows the Pilot to make a highly complicated and special maneuver that completely throws off the enemy ship. This provides a +4 to AC and requires 2 more successful d10s to do Battle Damage. Each time a successful Feint is done against a ship the Pilot gains a disadvantage to the Pilot check to attempt another Feint making it harder and harder until it is impossible to trick the enemy again. In this combat.

The Pilot simply declared they are going to do the action and then roll normally for a Pilot check.
