Benefits: The Character doesn't take disadvantage for using advanced firearms. Advanced firearms are weapons of level 4 to 6.

Normal: The Character has to take disadvantage for using any kind of firearm or weapon that they are not proficient at. The rules for weapon levels is located here.

Special: Almost all classes allow for advanced firearm proficiency. This should be a default for all character's starting out at level 1.
