Bombard is a function of a Space ship. Space Ships and other functions can be found here. This allows weapons on a space ship to be granted the Suppressive Fire ability which is explained here.

Description

Bombardment system is a special multi-target tracking system designed to track all objects within a certain radius of a ship. If a target moves in such a way that it gives the ship an advantage for firing then the weapons attempt to auto-align and shoot using the computers systems on-board the ship.
