As long as the mass majority (90% or more) of the person's body is intact and they are not missing their brain. The resuscitation takes a full round and the move also takes a full round. The Character is unconscious and has 1 HP. They cannot be dead for more than 12 hours unless the Bay/Facility specifies otherwise.

Description

The Medical Officer is responsible for the health and safety of the ship's crew. Their whole focus is on healing the officers and even stabilizing fallen comrades. They can also temporarily take the place of a Crew member switching ship positions without penalty.

Requirements: Must have at least 1 rank in the Treat Injury Skill.
Associated Ship Attribute: N/A
Officer Functions:
  1. Treat Injury: This is just the Treat Injury skill.
Advanced Officer Functions:
  1. Resuscitation/Life Support: If a Medical Bay or Facility is provided then a Medic can attempt to move the recently decided character to the Medical Bay and resuscitate them.
